National House committee on Maritime Safety, & Security Management & Administration Visit Egina FPSO

The National House of Representatives on the 24th of April, 2018 sent delegates from the House Committee on Maritime Safety, Security Management & Administration on an oversight visit of the ongoing Egina FPSO project at the SHI-MCI FZE Yard.

The officials were briefly at received by top management led by Mr Frank Ejizu, the COO of SHI-MCI FZE where they received the customary HSE induction after which they were given an in-depth tour of the SHI-MCI FZE Yard. The peak of the visit was a tour of the Egina FPSO.

The chairman of the committee, Hon Mohammed Umaru Bago after the tour expressed the committee’s immense pleasure with the project while urging SHI-MCI FZE, Total and other partners to make Corporate Social Responsibility to neighbouring communities a priority.

Notable officials who accompanied the chairman were members of the committee; Hon. Solomo, Adaelu, Hon Mohammed Musa Soba, Hon Osai Nicholas Osai, Hon Soyinka Olatunji, Hon. Barr. Chima Nwana and others.
