SHI-MCI FZE Celebrates World Safety Day

As part of our continual commitment to ensure that everyone goes home safely, we put together an event to mark World Safety Day. The event which held at SHI-MCI FZE base on the 27th of April, 2018 had in attendance management and staff of all participating companies in the ongoing Egina FPSO project.

The Safety Day was packed with activities which included a Muster Drill, Management HSE tour, Driver’s Forum, Time-out for Safety as well as HSE Awards and Recognitions. Awards were presented to workers who imbibed and exhibited safety values in their everyday work.

The event ended on a high note with an SHI-MCI FZE staff leading attendees in the customary safety charge which was met with vibrant cheer from the crowd.

Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management are core values for us here at SHI-MCI FZE and we endeavour to achieve a no-diseases, no-incident, and no-pollution work environment in line with our philosophy of ‘respect for life’. We are constantly applying HSE management systems from contract to delivery. Our aim is to have an HSE rating that we can be truly proud of Safety indeed is the number one value in management!
